Cosa accade quando un’artista e un ingegnere lavorano insieme? Quando la tecnologia dell’alta tensione e la riproduzione nell’arte dei fenomeni fisici si incontrano?
Il primo aprile, alle ore 20.00 a Museion, l’artista Micol Assaël, che vive tra Roma e Mosca e Ivan Kuzhekin, ingegnere del dipartimento High voltage dell’Elektroenergeticevsky Institute di Mosca, si confronteranno sulle affinità ed i confini fra arte e scienza, sulle tensioni energetiche ed elettriche e sui punti d’incontro e sinergie tra arte e tecnica.
Il dialogo continuo si traduce in una nuova forma di comunicazione di questi contenuti. Una forma più accessibile e comprensibile, espressa in varie modalità: rassegne di EURAC science cafè, mostre, installazioni e eventi collaterali.
The project aims to bring artists and researchers around one table to compare their own specialist language and tools in order to identify points in common and find a new way of communicating with a wider public. The artists are encouraged to reflect on their approach towards science in their work, the researchers to discover the creative side of their studies. Each discipline brings its own characteristics – on the one hand, art with its intuition and inspiration and on the other hand, science with its reasoning and precision. The result is an interweaving of art and science, in an ongoing exchange of stimuli.
The EURAC welcomes this challenge with two original features that make the initiative unique on an international level.
- The project proposes an experiment of dialogue between art and science.
- The project is housed in an unusual place: the staircase of the EURAC tower.
